Branching Out: Poetry for the 21st Century

Hailed as "the highest literary programming," this series of conversations with major American poets combines the programmatic excellence of Poets House and the Poetry Society of America to bring great American poets and Poetry In Motion™ placards to public libraries and transportation systems in seven cities nationwide. Branching Out is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and co-sponsored by the public library systems of each of the seven cities.

For detailed information about each event, substantive biographies and extensive literary resources, visit the Poetry Branching Out website.
