Describing her strategies for translating Lorca’s varied poetic music, she reads from the cante, the ballads, and the great homoerotic love poems. Arvio is joined by flamenco guitarist and Lorcaphile Sergio Sánchez-Monge Escardó in performance. Introduction by Poets House Program Director Paolo Javier.
