Tiny Poets Time is a free weekly reading and sing-along for toddlers to enjoy the fun of language. Our educators select favorite poems and songs to get little minds thinking and little feet moving, using rhyme and rhythm to make poetry accessible to even the youngest budding poets.
Tiny Poets Time takes place every Thursday at 10:00 AM. Admission is free!
Because of a special event, there will be no Tiny Poets Time on Thursday, April 18. Normal programming will resume next Thursday, April 25, at 10am.
Our staff typically leads Tiny Poets Time, but children’s poets and illustrators occasionally visit as guest educators. Guests have included acclaimed poets Charles Waters and Richard Lewis.
Tiny Poets Time takes place in our Children’s Room, a brightly-lit space filled with books, comfy seats, and objects to explore, set up just for kids to enjoy. All children (accompanied by their adults) are welcome!
No registration is required. We hope you’ll join us!
