Event Navigation

This is a special benefit for Poets House that helps keep our programming free or low cost.
Join us for an intimate Shakespeare-inspired dinner on Monday, November 7th in the Poets House library, surrounded by volumes of poetry and views of the Hudson River. This unforgettable evening will feature readings from the Bard’s works by actor Bill Murray and poets Sapphire and Susan Stewart. A medley of actors from the Public Theater’s current production of Love’s Labor’s Lost will perform scenes as we enjoy a sumptuous meal by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events, with wines provided by Neal Rosenthal. This once-in-a-lifetime event is a remarkable way to pay tribute to the history and future of poetry!
Tickets are $500. All proceeds support Poets House, helping us continue to bring free and affordable literary programming to New Yorkers and people around the country.
To purchase a ticket, make a donation, or if you have any questions, please contact Krista Manrique at (212) 431-7920 x.2830 or krista@poetshouse.org.
