Four poetic innovators explore representations of race, sexual identity and class in the revolutionary literature of the Harlem Renaissance poets—including Sterling Brown, Langston Hughes, Anne Spencer and Richard Bruce Nugent—and later generations of writers inspired by their work. Moderated by New York Public Library’s Schomburg Center curator Steven J. Fullwood.
