Join us for a behind the scenes look at the Poetry Path in Battery Park City featuring some of the staff and craftspeople responsible for making it happen!
In order of appearance: Jane Preston, Poets House Managing Director; BJ Jones, President and CEO of BPCA; Abby Ehrlich, Director of Community Partnerships and Public Art; BPCA Stone Masons Willem Paillant and Rene Lopcy; Stephen Arciold, Assistant Director of BPCA Parks Maintenance; BPCA Carpenters Noe Velasquez and Anitra Fauntleroy; and Kelsey Mitchell, RAA designer!
Join poet Charles Waters as he gives us an overview of the Poetry Path in Battery Park City.
This event initiates an on-going series of Poetry Path events including Micro-Readings by US Poet Laureate Joy Harjo, Brenda Hillman, Chen Chen, Ross Gay, and many others; tours, workshops, and more!
