A founder and director of the Poetry Project and co-founder along with Allen Ginsberg of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, poet Anne Waldman, with Bessie Award-nominated musician Steven Taylor, explores the prophetic work of 18th-century poet William Blake. Waldman takes audiences on a journey through Blake’s celebrated and expansive writings, their mystical undercurrent, and how they have influenced her poetry.
