Poetic Voices of the Muslim World Exhibit Opening

Join us for the opening celebration and a tour of the Poetic Voices of the Muslim World traveling exhibit as it arrives in Queens, featuring a talk by Pulitzer Prize winning dramatist Ayad Akhtar, followed by a tour of the exhibit by City Lore’s Director of Poetry Programs Catherine Fletcher with Sara Goudarzi (reading Forugh Farrokhzad) and Ahmed Eissawi (reading Al-Mutanabbi).
