Poet Laureate Joy Harjo reads from the title poem of Conflict Resolution for Holy Beings (W. W. Norton), featured on the Poetry Path in Battery Park City.
Joy Harjo is a poet, musician, playwright, and author. Harjo is a member of the Mvskoke Nation and belongs to Oce Vpofv. She is also the first Native American United States Poet Laureate.
