Apr 23, 2020 | 6:00 pm
Event Navigation

Join us in celebrating the opening of the Poetry Path with readings by poets featured in the path! We celebrate its opening with programs that follow the theme of pathfinding, including several that invite you to step into the Path and participate in the creation of new engagements with public space.
We meet at Belvedere Plaza, where an excerpt from Joy Harjo’s “Conflict Resolution for Holy Beings” has been installed as the path’s centerpiece. The celebration will continue at Poets House with additional readings and a reception.
All Poetry Path events are free and open to the public. The Poets House Poetry Path is made possible through a partnership with Battery Park City Authority, partners in design and fabrication of the Poetry Path, with additional support from our Outreach Partner, Goldman Sachs.
