Poetry Path Workshop with Charles Waters

Children’s poet, author, actor, and educator Charles Waters takes us on a tour of the Poetry Path in Battery Park City.

We look at 5 poems together and Waters gives us 5 writing prompts. Waters selects poems from across time and space, from Martin who is in second grade, to Rumi who lived in the 13th century. From former United States Poet Laureate Rita Dove, to Josh who is a local middle school school student.
