Poet, DJ, and teacher Joshua Escobar reads from Bareback Nightfall (Noemi Press & Letras Latinas, 2020), from Santa Barbara, CA.
Joshua Escobar is the author of the chapbooks Caljforkya Voltage (No, Dear/Small Anchor Press) and xxox fm (DoubleCross Press) as well as the new full-length collection about being a deejay in a queer dystopia, Bareback Nightfall (Noemi Press, July 2020). He is a regional chair for CantoMundo, the co-founder of the all-ages zine Orange Mercury, and the co-editor of the student-run literary magazine Open Fruit. He teaches at Santa Barbara City College, and reviews poetry collections on his free time. IG: djashtrae17
