Yanyi reads poems from his book The Year of Blue Water (Yale University Press, 2019) and new poems from his upcoming book Dream of the Divided Field (ONE WORLD, 202?), from quarantine on Long Island, NY.
Yanyi is a writer and critic. In 2018, he won the Yale Series of Younger Poets Prize, awarded by Carl Phillips, for his first book, The Year of Blue Water. Currently, he is poetry editor at Foundry, poetry review editor at Public Books, and an MFA candidate at New York University.
