Poets on Poets: Art of the Steal
In this workshop, you will be encouraged to model poems on the poems of other poets. After all, what is actually an ‘original poem,’ in these modern times? All artists steal from other artists. In this workshop, we will use contemporary poems as examples for which to write “new” work. Writers will be given sample poems and writing prompts in this generative workshop and have several opportunities to both comment on the work of model poems and the work of fellow writers in this zoom workshop.
3 hours on Tuesday | July 11 *New Date* | 12-3pm ET | $120 ($96 for Members)
All are welcome, space is limited. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. Please email support@poetshouse.org with any questions.
