Room To Roam: Writing the Voice of the Poem
Where are we located in our writer’s world, and how can perspective create new hybrid forms? Part of allowing the creative process its chance to amaze, is to encourage that trigger into amazement. Structured as a creative laboratory, this generative workshop will enrich our natural tri-lingual bodies, our speaking-seeing-hearing body, by bringing our creative capabilities into the writing process to replenish the languages inside us. By integrating sensory awareness, movement, zero gravity, earth prisms, and Alice Notley among others, we will empower our possible worlds by aligning entry points yet to be voiced.
3 hours on Saturday | June 3 | 12-3pm ET | $120 ($96 for Members)
All are welcome, space is limited. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. Please email support@poetshouse.org with any questions.
