Free Class Trips Arrange a Free Class Trip From kindergarten, elementary school, and high school English classes, to college and graduate seminars, Poets House hosts educational groups from the five boroughs and beyond. We invite all public and private school teachers to arrange free class trips to Poets House. Kindergarten through High School: We invite your students to participate in customized poetry writing and reading activities facilitated by our education team. Poets House staff members work with teachers to tailor field trips that excite and inspire, introducing their classes to the riches of the library and inviting them to make it their own. For an example of possible curriculum and activities, check out Leman Manhattan's article on their middle schoolers' recent visit here. College and Graduate Seminars: We invite you to bring your students for a class at Poets House. Our education team will provide a tour of the facility and an introduction to our collections. We will design an interactive poetry project for your class or welcome you to use our collections to support your poetry curricula.
