Help Shape the Future of Poets House

We know it’s been a while since you’ve heard any news from us about Poets House’s reboot, but after COVID closures, controversy in the community, and a devastating flood, Poets House is entering a new phase in its life as America’s poetry library—and we would love your help.

Poets House is turning to our community for counsel as we restructure with an emphasis on the library and collection. We invite you to share your thoughts with us before June 23 by completing a survey.

We are excited to have embarked on a listening campaign and strategic planning process that will allow us to assess and reorganize for a more sustainable future. The process will incorporate a DEIA diagnostic and offer feedback to inform our restructuring and search for a permanent ED.

It is important to us to reach a broad range of perspectives and experience through this endeavor. Your insights and experience will be invaluable to Poets House as we map out a plan of action for the work ahead.

Please note that this survey link has been created by our listening campaign consultant, the Tammy Dowley-Blackman Group, who are also engaged with Poets House’s ongoing DEIA endeavors. All responses will be used to help identify priorities for the strategic plan and will be aggregated with no attribution and held confidentially by the consulting team. We expect to be able to share insights from what we have learned by early fall.

Thank you in advance for participating with us in this important process!
