Poets House brings together poets and scholars from across the country and around the world to read and discuss poetry, inviting lively dialogue with audiences.
Now in its eighth year, the Emerging Poets Fellowship at Poets House provides poets with an opportunity to receive guidance and instruction from distinguished and diverse faculty, and camaraderie and support from a cohort of engaged emerging voices.
Poets House presents exhibitions of manuscripts, books, artwork, and other materials that shed light on the long history of cross-pollination between poetry and the visual arts, the physical beauty of the book, and the creative process.
Poets House offers classes, workshops, and mentoring programs for poets at all stages of their writing.
Poets House brings poetry into public libraries, zoos, natural history museums, and other public places, offering opportunities for surprising discoveries of the art.
The Poets House Showcase is a freely accessible exhibition that gathers thousands of newly published poetry books each summer.

Each year, Poets House presents a vast range of public programs and poetry events—including talks, panels, readings, seminars, performances, walking tours, and classes—giving audiences the chance to experience some of the leading international voices of the day.
Unless otherwise indicated, all events take place at Poets House at 10 River Terrace. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and tickets are available at the door.
