Days of Smoke: Joy Harjo


Joy Harjo is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and the author of nine poetry collections. From 2019 to 2022 she served as the Poet Laureate of the United States. Harjo is the recipient of Yale’s 2023 Bollingen Prize for American Poetry.
